From bank VP to award-winning art director.
At 29, I thought I had life figured out. I was a vice president of an international bank in Panama, my country. I had my music on almost every single radio station. I was living a pretty decent life. While on a trip to Miami I saw a sign next to a school that made me question my career choice. Thou shall not do boring advertisingwere the words that made me quit my career to follow my dream. When I quit everything to pursue a career in advertising, Miami Ad School was there for me.

one of those award-driven agencies that wants to change the world. I can say that when I was in school I brainstormed with the most amazing people (my classmates), I presented my ideas to the greatest creatives (my instructors); and I learned the skills that got my work published and made it go viral from the four agencies where I interned (SapientNitro, Alma DDB, JWT & Saatchi). I can say that I won awards, worked on amazing briefs, and learned that if you have a good idea you need to come up with a better one. That’s the most important thing I learned from Miami Ad School. This world is full of amazing creatives. It doesn’t matter if you have experience, or if you don’t. If you have a passion for advertising, if you are moving your head saying yes while reading this, you know Miami Ad School is for you.
